Heh. Just wanted to reccomend a nerdly book. I figured you people are the
only ones likely to read a book about MATH.
The book is "Fermat's Last Theorem" by Simon Singh. ISBN 1 85702 669 1 in
the UK. Im sure you'vd all (or most of you) heard of Fermat's theorem, which
was solved in 1995 after 358 years. The book tells all about its weird
history and how it was solved (and why not the way it should have been).
It's awsome, and very funny at times too. Took me less than a day to read
it, and its very easily read, entertaining and understood (gah, doesnt sound
like math, does it?).
So, any of you who havent read it yet, go grab it. Its neat.
Im now off to look for "The Code Book" by the same author. Its about codes
and encryption. any words about that one?

In the midst of reading Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
right now. I find it rather amusing that the Pigs are actually paying
me to read "subversive" literature. Looking forward to digging into
The Great Shark Hunt, a copy of McLuhan's Understanding Media I picked
up for $3, and Chomsky looms over my reading list...
