to the beat of just one drum. What might be right for you, might not be right
for some.

Let us take a moment to remember Dana Plato (no relation to the philosopher
Plato) who died today of an accidental overdose. She played feisty rich girl
Kimberly Drummond on the hit series Diff'rent Strokes. She is the first to
die as a result of the infamous Curse of Edna Garrett. This curse has ruined
the careers of all the stars of Diff'rent Strokes. The curse also caused all
the stars of The Facts of Life to get fat.

Tootie, wherever you are, beware! The Curse of Edna Garrett is still very
powerful!

The twisted thing is that on the cover of People, the title implied that she
killed herself with a drug overdose. It was a drug interaction to some
antibiotics she was taking! She was drug free!

The coroner recently declared the cause of death to be suicide due to
the amount of drugs in her system.

I am still blaming the curse of Edna Garrett.

Edna Garrett was the maid in Diff'rent Strokes and the housemother in
The Facts of Life. She was played by actress Charlotte Rae.

Little known fact: George Clooney played handyman George Burnett in
the 1985-86 season of The Facts of Life.
