Harvest McCambell Tune in on August 2nd to this month's Native American
public affairs program, Metate, which airs from 9-10 am, on KZYX & Z 90.7
FM. Host Robin Carneen will interview Harvest McCambell, who is the author
of a re-released book, Sacred Smoke. She will discuss the book's contents
and share her knowledge of different plants, used specifically for
ceremonial and healing purposes. Along with Harvest, is her friend, Renee
Shahroch, who wrote Harvest's bio for Sacred Smoke.Renee is a botany
professor at American River College and is very knowledgeable on plants used
historically and traditionally in Native American communities.Also woven
into this program will be music, news, and event announcements from Indian
Country.
