Apology
Brenda G. Kent
from my posts. I am a nice person and I love to teach AND learn....as a
lot of us seem to . I don't think I know anymore than anyone else..and I
am very receptive to learning. I believe that usenet is for everyone and
that we are all free to post and to not read what we want. All I ask is
for those people who already have an idea about me...to stop and ask
yourself why? and perhaps to wipe the slate clean and start over. I treat
everyone equally...I don't post on the basis of race or religion or creed
or lifestyle. I only ask for this to be extended to me in return.
Please don't see me as "a white colonizer". Just see me as a person...a
human being who was born and raised here in Canada. That's all I ask.

down here south of the border. With the latest "victory" that Prince Dubya
had with his "Hinterland Security Bill" we really don't take such freedoms
for granted anymore.
Even our "white colonizers" are starting to feel the rope burns. Those of
us that have lived on both sides of the "Red" line have always known that
justice and freedom for Indians and other minorities was never the same as
for well-to-do-white-america. Now that line is blurring and moving upscale
several degrees and forming along a phony "Patriot" distinction. This
country never really made it to "freedom and equality" for everyone and now
there is a definite reversal of that quest.
With my Dutchman Dad I could pass for white sometimes but I would have a
much harder time with this new category. Even my DAV membership, Purple
Heart, and Good Conduct medals don't make me look like a Bush supporter.
I don't think that Canada with fall to a "lighting war" but might well
succumb to an invading fungus of "save the world". Some of it has already
spread to the governing bodies of the Crown in the British homeland.

There are many here who have found a home and life they seek...and have
become sorta protective of it...one can even say they are a bit of a clique
unto themselves...to them I say "kiss my red assuming ass"..hey..it's
ok..they never respond to me anyway...
It may take some time..but if you are to stick it out and be patient with
yourself first..and the rest will follow..
for that is the nature of the beast.

Sadly Wayne we are the rev's circle of friends, at least to his way of
thinking. He has to up the level of his obnoxious behavior every so often

Thanks Wayne. I think it's fair that if someone offers an apology to accept
it. Otherwise they never have an oppurtunity to enter the fold and they
become people like Wobbly here.

what it seems like to me.
I just notise that the same annoying people trying to sell a religion
as the True Way are not benefiting much from it - not wisdom for
better understanding and dealing with life and the world. I don't even
think it makes them very happy. It looks like what they get is a
false comfort/explaination/solution for their problems, and that seems
a little like drugs to me.

reason..I do seem to remember threatening to do it though. I just mark the
"inane traffic"as "read" and it cleans itself up in time. Or I go to "tools"
and click "options",then to "maintenance"..so on and so on....and the "inane
traffic" always returns.....and I start all over again....

Forgive me for cutting in, but I did want to say something about those
that take a rock or peace of wood and make something out of them.
I've known a few that could trainsform a peace of this earth and make
something wonderful out of it. I have always had the highest respect
for them. It is said in the old ways that the one that made everything
put a peace of herself/himself into each and every thing on this
earth. When a person does this and gives it away or even sells it they
also put a peace of themselfs into each and everyone of them. Some
call this love I think it may be close to it. No person that can do
this will ever be a bad person at heart no matter what is said or
thought by themselfs or anyone else. Some here have even sent me and
my family things they have made, and I wish them to know we hold those
things close to our hearts as we would if it was they them selfs.
