It's hard to know where to begin to clarify this Churchill-Demain axis
in the underbelly of Indian Country, that has destroyed a lot of
effective action to help Native Peoples throughout our current
lifetimes over the past half century at least.

One way is personal. They've both not only reveled in vilifying me,
but also other writers like Roxane Dunbar-Ortiz who tells me Churchill
has been denouncing her since at least 1983, as an FBI provocateur,
sleazeball - you name it - as he has done me.

Regard the lies repeated by characters like Sizzle etc. on this NG, at
Denver AIM's website:

http://coloradoaim.org/why.html {footnote #11]

... in which they say I ripped off money that Russell Means ripped off
at the Black Hills Alliance (where I was on the Board of Directors
with Means and knew his thieving ways well, as well as the lying
lawyer Brucey Ellison, Nicky Meinhardt, and Marv Kammerer, the only
decent guy there].

AIMGGC also has a letter I wrote verifying Churchill's attacks on me
since the 80s, especially when my book 'The Powwow Highway' came out
and I was asked by Leonard Peltier to head up his Washington D.C.
office - - - http://aimovement.org

Roxane, as well as Susan Harjo, Leslie Marmon Silko, and a host of
other authors, have told me Churchill has been attacking them and
denouncing them to publishers as well, since the 80s. He has
systematically tried to ruin writers and our careers, to the benefit
of his. This isn't just "writers' politics" - it's systematic soviet-
style blacklisting of Samizdat proportions!

It ain't gonna hold. The upcoming Aquash murder trials beginning in
Feb. 2010 in Rapid City are going to bring the whole shitty history of
AIM/FBI way out in the open clear light of day.

Footnote to the above footnote --- Adrian Louis, a good friend (and
author of 'Skins' and excellent books of poetry), wrote me an email
saying he was "startled" to read this comment attributed to him about
me, and never said any such thing. For proof, email me and i'll
forward you his email.

This is more example of the many Churchill-generated lies about me,
and lots of authors.

Hi Dave,

I heard Churchill throw out a question about Joy Harjo being an Indian
too...on a radio program that had just played one of her songs...I
think the interview was too infatuated to catch it....or maybe was
being polite.

Your second link just goes to the main page....and finally Colorado
AIM says they have a letter on file from Adrian C. Lewis (yes he is an
awesome poet) have you ever asked them to produce it? And even if he
did say that don't all of our opinions of people change? How many
things have we all said unconsciously in our life times?
