Betsy Ashby Guardian Rulebreaker Hypocrite:

| To qualify for inclusion on Faux Indians,
| there is really only one major requirement...
| a victim willing to speak out.. Who has this
| person ripped off or otherwise preyed upon?

* Who has Norah ripped off or preyed on?

* Who has Lisa ripped off or preyed on?

You've spent all this time harassing them,
but they don't fit your "major requirement".

You break your OWN rules.

HYPOCRITE.

well, actually, there are too many people ripping off others in the
name of religion and gods of all types.
unfortunately, many of these people are really enrolled indians,
finding that they can make big bucks from stupid culture vulture
whites such as betsy.
but the people they rip off deserve what they get for trying to steal
native spirituality.
betsy deserved all she got for trying to steal what was not hers to
take.
but she is neither woman enough, nor man enough, to admit she is a
thief, and goes through life blaming others.
and when she is wrong, rather than apologize or even back off, she
has to continue attacking to justify her nasty actions.
she deserved far more, and was lucky she got off that easily.
oh, she SAYS she had "noble" intentions, but seeing her methods i
sincerely doubt it.
there is nothing "noble" or honorable about her.
she is a lazy coward with no morals or or even the slightest amount of
decency.
too lazy to go after the real rip offs, and too cowardly to go after
anyone but two old ladies and dead man.
and even THAT online, rather than face to face, in spite of her big bad
words or annihiliation and genocide.
she is nothing but a culture vulture wh attempted to steal native
spirituality for her own use and got bit in the ass for it.

Yes. And there are (unlike Bashby's) *legitimate* websites
that undertake to list such frauds or list warning signs:

<http://www.newagefraud.org>

<http://www.geocities.com/dontpay2pray>

<http://www.geocities.com/ourredearth/plastic.html>
<http://www.geocities.com/ourredearth/exploiters.html>
-- and here note the observation about exploiters' attacks
on those Indians who would expose them, including insults:
|
| C. You will be called "white." This is commonly used
| against American Indians, and it is curious that a
| [New Age] community which advertises itself as
| peaceful and racially harmonious will quickly use
| such racist terminology.
| ...
| F. Expect to be denounced as a "fake," "wannabe,"
| or "not a real" member of any and all legitimate
| cultural groups (your Tribe) or organizations (i.e.
| activist groups) that you are known to be affiliated
| or associated with. A statement often made by these
| expert judges of how American Indians act is "*Real*
| Indians do not act the way you are acting."

I wonder, too, if betsy thinks it's all right for enrolled (aka
"real") Indians to sell ceremony or make money "teaching" gullible
Anglo pagans at her "Gathering of the Tribes"? We already know her
poor opinion of Wiccans. I wonder if she discriminates against them
openly, or refuses to take their money? Or does she try to be
tolerant and keep her personal opinions more private in real time?

Ethics is such a complex issue. Most people wrestle with the blurry
lines. I know I do. I wonder how betsy deals with it?

I can rip somebody off! I can! I'll try and try until I get it right!!
Ok.
Umm.
OH! ANCESTRAL *ROCKS* !!
Yeah!
Get your very own AUTHENTIC ANCESTRAL ROCK from the North Georgia
Mountains. GUARANTEED to probably, maybe, have been walked on by a
GENUINE American Indian, at sometime or another, or at least maybe by a
White Settler.
Or a bear or sumtin.
Ok, maybe it wasn't actually *walked* on. But it DID lay there on the
ground for like... a really long time!!
But it's a REAL rock and, and.. OH! AND it's hard!!
You can use it as a paperweight or as a ...well, as a rock.
There are PLENTY of uses for a rock.
The Sky is the limit!
Well, actually the ground is the limit, but you get the idea.
So send me like a gazillion dollars ( plus shipping and handling) and
I'll send YOU your very own ANCESTRAL rock.
You can even NAME it.
"Rocky" or sumtin.

This is a limited time offer, so HURRY while supplies last!!
Void where prohibited.
And prohibited where void.
No! Wait!!
If there is a void, then there should be a demand for them, so scratch
that !
Unless the rocks were removed on purpose so then they probably don't
want them back.
Hmm.
I KNOW!!
If you've got rocks you don't want, why, just send them on to me, and,
for a small fee, I'll take 'em!
Unless, of course, there is a "NO TAKING rocks" sign or law or sumtin
where you are.
They've got those at some places, so I hear.
Like Monuments, and historical Sites like Stonehenge, which is probably
a good idea 'cause if you took the stones from Stonehenge you'd just
have a henge which probably wouldn't be near the Tourist attraction.
Or the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. Take away the rocks, there'd be no
wall, just a Wailing.
There is Wailing Jennings, but he's not as big a draw. Probably makes
more money, though.
And Pebble Beach!
I dunno if a pebble can be considered an actual rock...
But the concept follows, no pebbles, it's just a beach.
Unless it's sunny...

she doesn't.
having no ethics, no morality, no honesty, no decency, little, if any
humanity, a small issue of ethics certainly is nothing of which she
would concern herself.

ah, you are a life saver!!!
i have all these rocks out here that ray piled up to remove,
i am now having to do my chores, and TRY to do his as well
well, anyway, there are all these damn rocks, two acres worth gathered
up.
may i send them c.o.d.?.
or can you pick them up?
they are guaranteed arizona rocks, and may even had a coyote pee on
them at one time or another.
we can even make up one of those fancy tags, saying "picked up by a
betsy ashby certified faux".
we could tack another ten bucks on for that alone.

okay, but... how do I know that you are *actually* a betsy ashby
certified faux? What if you are a faux faux ?
And then there is the fee and the C.O.D. makes it from.
Might as well throw in a fei !
Which would make it a "Fee fei faux faux from."
Whoa !! You're a GIANT ???
Not that I've got anything against Giants.
Some of my best friends..., well, aren't, actually.
I know a really tall guy but he's not a giant or anything...
