I am a brute. But, for a reason. To me, it is the difference between
being a boy and a man, having moved beyond being a soldier, in a
military sense, to being a fighter, in a social-reformer vein. A
brute might be seen, by some, as some sort of a monster. But, in my
case, it is someone powerful, unwilling to compromise with the foe.
As I grew older, I witnessed the corruption, graft and decadence, all
around me. The savagery and hatred toward me brushed away my
innocence and substituted rage and ruthlessness. I could not be part
of the lies and lust, as I became a well-oiled machine, fueled up to
liberate my people. I had no choice, but, also, no remorse.
Some may have sized me up as having become cold, but I am on fire,
inside. I have tamed my brute-force by my creed, which lays out pure
objectives and clean-living, to reach my goals. I refuse to accept
the hell that my country has become. So, I say goodbye to the Mister-
Nice-Guy of the past and neither look back nor complain.
Am I to be feared? Actually, I am the one who will make it possible
for my countrymen to sleep without fear, once the treachery is no
more. As a brute, I reject being a beast, but, instead, proceed as a
benefactor. Physical-training, education and dedication have
conquered my fears and enabled me to become an inspiration to others.
I have learned to survive, but it is not about simply holding one's
ground, but about gaining power. Now that I am among lions, my pride
is as strong as my blood. To some, brute-strength could be a curse,
but, to me, it is the way I pave my way, taming my emotions, letting
no sympathy slow me down. So, get out of my way.
