Andrew Powers
There have been a few self-proclaimed Skinheads, who have made news
for being anti-social or criminal. There was Nathan Greeson, who spit
on a policeman and got arrested. Then, Sammy Compton, who joined a
group of murder-conspirators and was jailed. The latest has been Ken
Zrallack, who made illegal hand-grenades and sold them to undercover
cops, while professing allegiance to numerology. His cohort, Chris
Simpson, has appeared masked in public, refusing to give his real
name.
All of these individuals have obviously been frustrated with the state
of affairs, today. They probably felt that their activism was
"incomplete," without doing something "dramatic" or, even, illegal.
Maybe they thought of themselves as betrayed and oppressed,
considering that the American people are hard-pressed in finding a
voice or protecting their rights. But, to allow themselves to be
distracted by mindless conduct only supplies the spikes to those who
want to nail real Skins to the cross.
The concern is serious, because the all-American cause is growing by
leaps and bounds and the battle for the nation's soul is in full
swing. But, senseless arrests and disrespectful conduct are
uncharacteristic of genuine Skinheads, who wish to take their place
among their patriot forefathers, not join the ranks of illegal-aliens
and gang-bangers behind bars. A clean-shaven head signifies clean
living, a clean mind and clean conduct, by one who exemplifies a
proud, true and organized Nationalist.
False stereotypes only create negative imagery. Dressing like
anarchists, behaving like vice lords and coming across as degenerates
summons scorn, not only from the public but from actual Skinheads. If
someone wishes to be my comrade, I will first ask, "Do you have a
heart as pure as your skin?" If he says, "Yes," he is welcome to join
in our struggle, as a freedom-fighter, for a better tomorrow. If he
only wishes to take a half-step, then he must be left behind to his
"partying," recklessness and poor company.
