Twilight had tactile lighting that was mixed with shadow lenses to
produce an omnious effect, but due to the fact that it was a Love
story the darkness or the omnious factor turned into a fairy tale
atmosphere. This produces a thickness in the drama where due to the
exigency of the atmosphere a grotesque situation would make thick
drops of blood rather than incidental bloodletting. In reference to
this, Spielburg produced the same kind of effect..in which there
exists too much God in the film whereas Kubrick's world was godless
all the way through..so Grace exists in Spielburg's films which is the
prime premum mobilia of the souls of characters whether they are good
or evil are connected to this same premum mobilia having undergone
sublimation. This movie is not social fiction because social fiction
is made up of social phenomena as in Taxi Driver (Scorsese, 70s). The
vintage quality took its shape in Taxi Driver so it polarizes away
from being a sensationalist film..but with God in the movies there is
an essential sensationalistic factor to it. One wonders thus if it is
an effigy.. since it is larger than life without being an effigy it
exists in the form of a dream. So refering to the nature of reality
being without the divine imagination which social fiction attacks, in
reality God exists in relavity. This is a revelation and a logical
conclusion from watching Spielburg films that all have an arrow that
points the way, which in reality there are no arrows that point the
way.
