"Thunderbird" from ZZ Top. We started the Christmas party of the Fehmarn
Festival Group with this one, and their president JJ announced us. The clip
is in black & white, because the digicam has a "coolness" switch that is
automatically triggered when detecting such content. ;-) And of course it's
"captured as it came down - hot, spontaneous, and presented to you honestly,
without the assistance of studio gimmicks."
"Just got paid" from ZZ Top.
"Erbarmen / Jesus verließ St. Pauli" which is "Waitin' for the bus / Jesus
just left Chicago" from ZZ Top in a German version written by Hannes Bauer,
a Hamburg-based guitarist who founded Bauer, Garn & Dyke in the late 70s.
"Koko Blue", one of the oldest ZZ Top songs that we cover (from their second
album "Rio Grande Mud").
"I thank you" from ZZ Top.
"Arrested for driving while blind" from ZZ Top.
"Cheap Sunglasses" from ZZ Top.
"La Grange" from ZZ Top. It's only the last part of the song, so no singing
here, but at least it's in color this time. You can't have everything all
the time, right? ;-)
"El Diablo" from ZZ Top. We enhanced this clip with psychedelic colors that
correspond to the batik wall facing in the barn - and the song... ;-)
"Sharp dressed man" from ZZ Top, with a shuffle feel to it.
"Pincushion" from ZZ Top."Sleeping on the sidewalk" from Queen.
"Normale Härte" from Rodgau Monotones.
"Ein Loch in der Tasche" from Marius Müller-Westernhagen - German gangsta
rap at its best! ;-)
"Deutsche Läuse" from Herwig Mitteregger (drummer of Spliff) who wrote a
great German version of AC/DC's "Crabsody in blue" with this song.
