I lurk around the edges of this newsgroup. I drop in to see the latest
Warren news and to silently hang with the other Zevon fans.

Picked up Howard's DVD compilation and think it's wonderful.

I enjoy Warren's acoustic travels (his version of Barricades of Heaven is
incredible). I do, however, have a fondness for the rocking full band
Zevon.

I've got a copy of the Odeon show and think it's wonderful.

What would be the other definitive Warren live with band performances to
have? I've heard references to Boulder and the Odds.

I've only recently discovered the jaxter site and think it's great. Any
chance of having a great classic full blown rock and roll performance posted
to that site?

Best wishes,

Jim

Jim,

Have you picked up Learning to Flinch yet? Great live Zevon of about a
decade ago and he gets a few pennies from it (sad, but probably true).

Dear Mr. Silent (aka Another Jim): I HIGHLY recommend the Boulder CO
show w/ the Odds. Thanks again and again and again to Lucy. It rocks,
the band is awesome, the reproduction superb, and the selections
great. Need a copy? Let me know off group. Of course, after the DVD
collection, everything else seems a bit anticlimatic. Actually, I
don't have the 2/25/88 Hammersmith Odeon, London show. Want to trade?

Hi Vicki,

I responded to you last evening off line.

Thanks also for the recommendation Howard. I do have a copy of "Learning To
Flinch." I particularly like the cover of "Boom Boom Mancini" from that
release. Haven't listened to it for a while but I recall a lot of great 12
string on that cut.

Regards,

Jim
