Although I like both, I believe that I like Eddie Van Halen more because he
doesn't play the same notes over and over again. I can listen to countless
van Halen albums without getting tired of it, but I think Malmsteen can only
do so much without being repetitive. Eddie also seems to be playing with
more feeling. However, EVH is a sad state of affairs today and I think that
Malmsteen can seriously kick his ass.... I have always thought that
Malmsteen was faster, though.

I think the old yngwie is better than eddie. Yngwie brought something
new to electric guitar. Although, today eddiie is better because he
doesn't play the same notes over and over. Randy Rhodes was a real
classical guitar player. jacob
