So far I have liked the one they performed on Dec 11, 1974 at Boston Gardens.

Even Patrick Moraz's presence did not ruin it. The performances are outstanding. Alan White really kicked ass. And Chris Squire and Steve Howe are on fire. Even Jon Anderson gets emotional on The Gates of Delirium.

Probably my personal favourite - also known as 'Stellar Attraction.'
Intriguing how they start Soundchaser out of Firebird Suite with the
"cha-cha-s." There seems to be a tiny bit of recording missing here,
perhaps a second, that leaves me even more intrigued. Anyone know of
any other boots with this intro intact?

I think Stellar Attraction Is actually the same recording from Boston in 1974 that the OP mentioned. I have two versions of that, one of which sounds sourced from vinyl with some dropouts and another with the KBFH lead ins and perfect sound that I think is sourced from the broadcast masters.

Anyway, I have a pretty small boot collection, but the ones I have with the best sound quality are:

06/17/76 Roosevelt Stadium
10/28/78 Wembley
04/18/79 Montreal
06/29/91 Wembley

That's just what I was saying - have another read!

Ah, would be interested to hear the full broadcast version. I had the
vinyl-sourced one on cassette - sounded very good though.

In recent years the "commercial" boots have been surpassed by traders
unearthing lower gen sources. The ones with silly names, like "Stellar
Attraction" are obsolete. The ones you list are some of the more famous Yes
boots, but most have all seen upgrades surface in recent years.

Even Patrick Moraz didn't ruin it?? MMm...that's a joke, mate - Pat was a waaay more sophisticated and technical player than mister major-scale arpeggibator fingers Rick friken Wakeman ever was.
