Hi, is anyone familiar with a Guinean cassette "Les belles chansons de
Conakry (Guinee)" ? There are no bands named, just the tracks. The
cassette is a compilation and was released in 1989 (cat. no. 7778). The
tracks are:
Side A: Khanua; Kenen di; Songo yaya; Iyaraluma.
Side B: Mamata; Fare keneni; Gbinebina so; Khanua.
The cover has a picture of a guitar lying on the ground with leads going
from it into a dustbin.
I'm trying to find out the names of the bands.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Graeme Counsel

Not sure how old this question is! Just stumbled across it when looking to buy the album.
There are various artists on this album, including Petit Seny, Atlantic Melody, Danfodio
(not sure of spelling), Gabar, Kaloum Star.

Lovely album.
