To make a long story short, I still haven't gotten my Who tickets
after buying them online from Ticketmaster weeks ago. After
searching their webpages for the hidden phone number and enduring
endless message center antics, I finally got a live person. He did
not at all seem to care or be alarmed that I did not get my tickets.
He basically gave the impression that it didn't matter whether you got
your tickets or not as long as the purchase was confirmed as you could
call 24 hours in advance of the show and arrange for the tickets to be
held at will call. Glad I paid that extra "convenience" fee.

What a joke.

Is anyone else having similar problems?

Jeff.

I ordered tickets this past Saturday for the Hershey show, and remember
reading the choices of delivery regular mail it says that hey will be
delivered at least 48 hours before the show, which is 4-5 months from now,I'd
like to have them in hand now or with in normal time period a week or
so.Shoulda went with UPS option, but was a cheap ass,and figured they be here
in a week,I'll let you know how long it takes.

Hope you get them soon.

Jeff you failed to mention what delivery method you had chosen?Did you choose 1
day shipping, 2-3 day shipping? If you chose standard shipping then they
guarantee that your tix will be delivered within 48 hrs of the
show,however....the tix almost always showed up two to four weeks AFTER I
purchased them online or over the phone.

Jeff......I wouldn't worry as yet......I've ordered numerous tickets online,
and they've never failed to show up in plenty of time for the
show........being as how The Who's tickets are relatively pricey compared to
most local shows, they may (or may not) be sent certified mail (which
provides an extra level of security), as my CSNY tickets were, whose prices
were exactly the same as The Who's........

No surprise there, I've had similar experiences. However, to be fair, when
I've had tickets held at the pickup window by Ticketmaster, including for
the Who in 2000, they've been there, same as with Bob Dylan recently. Just
remember to take your I.D. and the confirmation number and the credit card
you used to buy them. I've never had to show more than my I.D., but just to
be on the safe side....

This year I wanted to be sure of getting good seats so I paid a little extra
and got them from a broker with a good reputation. Anything that saves me
from going through the Tickermaster thing on the phone is worth a little
extra to me, and no I don't need any magazine subscriptions or money-saving
gasoline coupons or family fun packs and so on, thanks Tickermaster, just
the tickets please.

Back in September, there were some real delays with mail delivery, and I
never got the tickets I'd ordered. But, all it took was a call to TM. They
took my name, told me to bring the credit card I'd used and a picture ID,
and just pick 'em up at the will call window.

In other words, it wasn't a hassle at all.

Then, about a week after the show, the tickets did eventually arrive.

I ordered mine on Saturday and got them on Wednesday. Ordered them by
regular mail. It might depend on where you live. I live in Virginia, where
ticketmaster is just down the road.
