Roger & Simon at the Count Basie on Tuesday

I was at the show in Red Bank on Tuesday. I thought I would be only
somewhat impressed, but man, what a show they put on. Great song
selections, high energy and a tight band....and Roger's voice was in
really good form. I almost skipped this show -- a mere 3 miles from
my house -- but I'm so glad I didn't. Roger's really a great
guitarist too. I was really surprised at how well he can play!
Chris Stamp was in the audience and I was lucky enough to say hello to
the living half of the management team that helped shape the Who.
If you are considering the NYC show on Friday, it will be worth your
while and you will not regret it. You only live once!

PS - Roger confirmed that the Who are playing the Superbowl
halftime.

It's good to hear that his voice was in good form.
At the superbowl...he'll need...'a decent yell in WGFA'...strong voice
in WAY, and BOR...and if there is MG...he can do it cuz it's a rough
song...and Pete n' Simon can help.
