Rich Weiner having trouble with secret identities

Hey Dick,
When you need someone to pretend to be a "friend" of yours (with friends
like Bernd, who needs enemies?), try to make your secret identities a
little more believable. This would make you a bit more entertaining and
less pathetic. Here's some helpful hints:
1) Don't just use your secret id to post in defence of your sad attempts
at flames. Diversify. Make the other id seem like it could possibly be a
real person and not just YOU in a wig. Daffodil just popped in out of
nowhere when you needed someone to say "I know Rich, he's a good
guy"--how come there's never any DETAILS? Not a deep thinker are you
Dick?
2) Try to alter your writing style from one identity to the other. I
know this may be an enormous task for someone who's barely literate, but
just TRY to use your imagination. The line-by-line rebuttals and the
unsupported statements that trail off into nowhere...
Well, they give you away every time.
3) Give your characters SOME personality. You come up with great, highly
imaginative names like "Mike" and "Jennifer" but the only personality
trait they reveal is their undying devotion to you and their blanket
support of anything you do or say. If you're such a great guy, how come
we're not hearing it from the people you always claim are your buddies
like Scott and Bernd? Oh, never mind, I guess it's because they're REAL
PEOPLE with brains who don't want to be associated with you anymore.
Hey did you get a chance to thank Bernd for publicly trashing you? And
Scott for asking him to do it? You've got some "great" friends! Having
you taken your lumps and been properly chastised now? What a riot!

Daffodil is a real person. If you subscribed to either Odds & Sods or
Whofans you would know this. No fake ID here. She just does not post to
a.m.w. that much...

Mike is also a real person. See above... Also, I have seen Rich and Mike
have arguments, albeit not very serious...
As for Scott and Bernd... Scott is a great guy, and as far as I am aware,
is on pretty good terms with Rich. I'm not saying that Scott is necessarly
on Rich's side, but he is not against him either. As for Bernd, he is
simply fed up with recent actions. As far as I know, Scott never had
anything to do with Bernd's postings. Note that I have talked to Rich,
Scott, and Bernd all recently - have you?
Again, I don't want to trash you (although others might), but you simply
cannot back up what you post.

Thanks Luke...and I'd go further and say I am on GREAT terms with
Rich...again, I may not agree with everything he says and does, but I
don't know ANYONE who is perfect like me! ;-)

I'm not "for" or "against" anyone! I am me! I am a free thinker...I can
hit delete or skip to the next message as fast (or faster) than anyone.
If I don't like a post, I ignore it! Simple as that! I don't want to
get involved in CR*P...I find discussions of The Who interesting...all
else here and on O&S frankly bores me silly!

I did have many email conversations with Bernd prior to posting...and
did say that if he was as upset as he appeared to be, he should "stand
up" and say so...Bernd is an intellegent guy who doesn't need my
"support" or approval...and certainly has a mind of his own!

Look before you leap!
Just because I don't post ANYTHING in this newsgroup doesn't mean I
don't read it...and just because I don't defend someone doesn't mean
that I don't associate with or want to be associated with someone.
Fact is, Rich and I are friends...Sure, I may not like all of his
actions, but there are few friends I have that are "perfect"! ;-)
As for "association"...if I'm not wanting to be associated with him, why
am I working on a webpage with him???

There are times a friend has to let another friend know if he thinks he
has gone to far. Bernd spoke his mind, and I thought it right that he
do so publicly...I didn't "ask" him to, I mearly said that I wasn't
opposed to it...fact is, I read his post at the same time many of you
did.
While I don't like everything the Rich says or does, I don't feel is
necessary for me to publicly debate it...I would rather never see a
flame on O&S or here...but I'm not going to step into one just for the
hell of it!
Next time you want to start "throwing names"...please be sure you know
SOMETHING about the people who's names your throwing! One of them may
come back and say "you don't have a clue what your talking about!"

But seriously, I think that Jennifer lemming is a real person...I saw her
once....her body resembles a #2 pencil. As far as that "Mike" kid, he's just a
little kid who latched on to Dickie Weiner...harmless really...

So what WOULD it take for you fine fellows to disown Fangy? It's alright
if he tries to humiliate anyone but you, I guess. Or I suppose he feeds
you enough "inside information" to allow you to overlook his obvious
deficits in the mental stability and common decency departments? Typical
"look the other way" mentality.

My guess is that most of Fang's friends don't go around "defending" him because
they know he doesn't need to be defended...

Actually, your comments were on the money and people should learn by them.
Unfortunately, the problem here is that you have smart people comingling with
stupid people, who probably have trouble tying their own shoe laces (in some
cases because they are so fat).
And, as a result, there is friction between the stupid people "not getting it"
and trying to "get even" for crimes of nature that they think are committed
against them. Pretty sad, if you think about it.
So, in order to make "light" of the situation, one can either ignore them or
trash them, depending on the circumstances...
You might be better off subscribing to "Odds & Sods". This newsgroup pretty
much lacks Who News and seems to be a dumping ground for "dregs". If you need
