Which Version of Who's Next Should I Get?

"Who's Next" was my first Who CD (I started listening in 2001), and my
current copy is a rip of the '95 remaster, with the added tracks.

Since I own legal copies of all the others, I figured I might as well
get a legitimate WN finally. So, is the new Deluxe version a good
remaster? I know people have had problems with the LAL remix (I
finally noticed on LALC how much better placed Keith's drumming seems
in the mix).

[Before people accuse me of ripping the Who off, I should say I own
all their other CD's, and this was the pirated copy that got me into
them. I now own 60 Who CD's (mostly bootlegs).]

While I'm at it, on what album's do you feel a mono version is better?
I hear people talking about AQO, and I wonder if I might buy new
copies. I'm also considering the Quad Deluxe - though it sounds like
the bonus tracks are rather forgetable.

The WN deluxe is worth it just for disc #2.

I'd buy the Deluxe Version, which as said, has both bonus songs and a
second live cd of the Young Vic show.

The Canadian MCA version (MCABD 37217, no bonus songs just the original
album) has probably the best sound. I picked up a copy at HMV.com a few
years back but I'm not sure its still around. Value for money though the
Deluxe is tops in my view.

The Young Vic show is included in its entirety? Or would I still want
a bootleg of it?

Deluxe is definitely the best option. I have yet to hear the stereo
AQO CD. And as for Quad Deluxe... it doesn't exist yet!

FYI, early US MCA versions use the same basic mastering, but are a tad
better. The hiss doesn't vanish between songs, and there isn't a glitch
in WGFA. It's luck of the draw, though, as some pressings are good and
others use an inferior mastering.
