Does anyone know what happened to the songs "I swear it's true" and
"Getting up and leaving"? They were the two songs to be realeased on the
Pink Triangle single, but since that was never released, neither were those
songs. And since just about everything else has been found in the bootleg
world, are those 2 available somewhere?

**AHem- coff coff urmm ahem, uh what? who? how? whey?

"getting up and leaving" and "i swear its true". what happened to them you
ask? what are the lyrics, you ask? ok..

as for the first question (and its funny how no one ever asked this before,
but...)

they were both first written right before the blue album was recorded, but
they never were recorded all nice-like back then. they kicked around in
soundchecks once in a while, and when it was time to do pinkerton, the idea
of recording them better, for b-sides, was brought up. both were worked on to
the point of just needing a final mixdown. Although this was never official,
its nearly certain that they would have been the b-sides to "pink triangle"
if PT had been put out as a "for sale" single. of course, PT ran outta gas
and that never happened. doh! I think they actually played "ISIT" at a few
shows, i think one time was at one of the shows at the metro in chicago...i
dont think "GUAL" was ever played at a show.

lyrics? i have to go to pleep. i mean sleep! ha ha. but heres a few i can
recall:

i swear its true (very slow tempo, super repetitive riff... black
sabbath+gary numan?)

its been 2 1/2 years now
since weve been apart
ive been kinda messed up lately
cant seem to get you out-
of my mind

i really miss you girl
i really do
you think its crazy but
i swear its true

etc... (i forget)

getting up an leaving (more regular weezer type song)

my life is changing
and im feeling blue
the things i wished for
have all come true

oh, stop!
i really really wanna go back
back to where i came from
stop!
i really really wanna go back
back to where i belong

now im getting up and leaving
im leaving home
now im getting up and leaving
i wanna go home

etc...(i forget)

copy and paste , folks

Thank you Karl, you remain....THE MAN. I'd just like to take the time to
tell everyone, I copyright this message! I better not find any of this on
any other website but mine! lmao. I sue you for agoogle bajillion dollars.
I still can't believe nobody ever asked about that until now. It seemed
like a stupid question when I asked it and I figured I'd be beaten by
monkeys or something.

Later days,
David
