Fear My Pythons
and tell me what it means to them. It's kind of a funny song yet I think it
has a deeper meaning... well, here is what I think it means:
Rivers Cuomo wears square glasses, and dresses somewhat "nerdy" if that's what
you want to call it. In the song "Buddy Holly", he says that he looks just
like him, and that he doesn't care what you say about him. I interprete that
as Rivers letting everyone know that he is who he is, and you can judge him
however you want, because he knows he's been judged before, and he just doesn't
care anymore. But then again, there's also a part of him that wants to be
excepted, understood, and loved.... and he is, by us, the fans.
I really don't know if thats what the song really means to rivers, but thats
what it means to me. What's it mean to you guys?

about his own life. I believe he felt responsible for a lady friend that
was not his girlfriend, and took a lot of flack because of it. She might
have been mentally challenged too. Anyway, I think i remember hearing that
in an interview, or maybe that song interpretation thing that they used to
offer. Remember, "The World Has turned is about how I felt bad after that
girl [from No One Else] dumped me", or something like that?
