"In The Midnight Hour"???

Somewhere in a stack of my old magazines I had an article where Roth
said they DID record an "unconventional" and keyboard version of this
song during the '1984' sessions but the band decided not to release it
as it might be considered too much of a stab at pure commercialism
(like "Jump" wasn't???).

So when will we ever hear this or some of the other tracks below:

Or has Eddie reworked these into other songs, or were these songs just
"working titles" as they say, or were they not up to par to be
officially released?

If Ed doesn't do something relatively soon, I really think fans will
finally give up hope of hearing anything new, outtakes or new life
stuff... He just can't keep us in the dark forever.
