...but what I would consider to be an excellent source would be Neil
Zlozer(?), the bands photographer throughout the Dave years. There is an
interview at Metal Sludge where he personally saw tons of the hottest
groupies make off with Dave after the show while he and Alex drank
schlitz most of the time.
And besides that, even after all the attacks from the VH bros., Sammy
and various other associates, I have never heard of even one allegation
of him being gay... except from the Van Hagar sheep, who have time and
again been proven malicious and misguided liars.

Focusing on the music would mean admitting that VH hasn't done
anything remotely interesting in ages. With Sammy, they took the sappy
and boring middle of the road route and while that may be right up the
alley of some folks, but I've never liked that particular sound. It's
like carbon-copy, cookie cutter music with the obligatory
gut-wrenching power ballad thrown in for the chicks. I don't hate
Sammy, I just hate how he and Eddie have castrated Van Halen.
Wake me up when Van Hagar (or Dave, for that matter) does anything
even close to the greatness of Fair Warning.
