Well it seems, contrary to Rex Jackson's report that all is fine and dandy with
the VH crew, Mr Leiren was fired by Eddie Van Halen, same as Erwin Musper,
Bruce Fairburn, Glenn Ballard (hey where is Allanis' cd, thought he left to
work on that 2 years ago,? LOL) and is not on tour with them AT ALL!!!!!!!!
Leiren did not quit, is not working with someone else and is not sick!!!!!! He
was fired by Eddie Van Halen personally after 20+ years!!!!!!!
Eddie Van Halen is not only self-destructing, but also causing havoc in the
lives of those around him. He has no regard for anyone but himself. Soon,
that's all he'll have left.
No wonder VH3 sucks and blows so friggin' bad.
Bring on the MIGHTY DLR BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DAVE FRIGGIN' RULES!!!!!!!!!
Love,
Angus

Forgive me for not keeping up w/ my VH history, but didn't EVH replace Rudy with
some kid named Zeke Clark around 5150/OU812 time? Perhaps he employed both, but
I distinctly remember reading an article about this kid around that time.

Uh, Angus...not to step on your nuts or anything, but what decade are you
living in? Rudy was replaced by Zeke AGES ago and Zeke (often known as
"Goonga") left to work with Prince was replaced by Matt Bruck YEARS ago.
Matt still works for Van Halen, but he's working on his own band and has
decided not to tour. He's doing some really cool work for Van Halen at 5150,
though, while Nuno's old tech, Mike Keegan, tours with Van Halen. The
hippest part of Keegan being with Edward now is that Keegan used to play
guitar in a Van Halen cover band that Nuno used to go see all the time in
Boston! At soundcheck he's been known to jam with the band, too! In
Newcastle he jammed on a killer version of "On Fire" with Gary, Alex and
Mike.

Once again, truth prevails. Rex is absolutely correct on this one.

Dude, if you're gonna come and post a day late and 99 cents short of a
dollar....at least try and be sober...or get someone to proof read your
babbling.
I am tired of these lame and false postings.
Hey Dave lost his new guitar player Michael Hartman, Who's the man with
the attitude? DAVE!

According to my math, that's only 10 years.
Also, if memory serves me correct, most of the VH staff left with Dave back
in '85. I guess Dave was the asshole, right? It couldnt have been the VH
brothers?
Wrong Waldo. Dave was the glue that held VH together. It just took 12 years
for it to completely unravel for VH.
Pity, they were such a great band.
At least he's still got friends. Dave's so self destructing his own
bandmembers quit on a regular basis!
