Neil Peart Has New Drum Tech Guess Who?

Alex Van Halen's. After more than 25 yrs Peart this year parted ways with his
long time tech Larry Allen. Rush is putting together the last tracks for an
album due in January or early Feb. A spring tour is to follow with a rumor from
the Primus camp that it will be them. So Alex's drum tech has left him. I guess
that doesn't mean a tour anytime soon since he has not named a replacement.

Yes. Exactly. Peart lost his wife and daughter all in 10 months time from a car
accident and his wife to cancer. His daughter only 19. Fucking crime. Neil
re-married late last year and Rush got back in the studio Jan.10th. They are
70% done with the album, predict about 3 months more they are figuring. Then it
will be ready to go.

Van Halen will be figuring out how to launch a recording date with a singer
sometime around the beginning then.

Rush will hit the road in Feb-March and Van Halen should be finding a producer
by then. Then Roth will begin a new album session. Hagar will have a new album
out and touring probably with another burned out 80s act and will be selling
out 4-6,000 seat venues doing so.

Seeing a trend here?

Jared...calm down. They are mocking Alex Van Halen. Alex just uses an open
hi-hat and tons of cymbals are crashing in every single song. It was sarcasm
not an open attack on Peart. Although things can be said about their last
release Test For Echo where his playing was dismal.

Who? Who's this drum tech Neil has hired away from Alex? I saw someone
post something about it on the Rush newsgroup, but I'd never heard of
the guy before.
