"Hot for Teacher" chick.......Janet Jones, Lilian Muller, or Lori Butler???

For 18 years, Van Halen fans have wondered who was the bikini-clad teacher
in the infamous "Hot For Teacher" video. For many years, we thought it was
former gymnast Janet Jones, who later became Mrs. Wayne Gretsky. Just a few
months ago, VH-1 reported that former Penthouse Pet Lilian Muller was the
actress in that video. Now, VH-1 claims in their special "Video Vixens II"
that the hot teacher was actually a model named Lori Butler!

The eternal question burns on -- who the fuck is the "Hot For Teacher"
chick?!?!

VH-1 has lost all credibility with me. Back in September, they aired "Video
Vixens I" and claimed the "Hot for Teacher" babe was a former Playboy
Playmate named Lillian Muller. 3 months later, they air "Video Vixens II"
and now say it was a former model named Lori Butler. Who the fuck is it,
VH-1?

VH-1 has about as much credibility as Spammy Hagar did in Van Halen - jack

happened almost 20 yrs ago...and odds are she don't look quite as hot
these days =) you sound like millhouse complaining to bart about his

to measure what degree he did them at, makes me wonder about you
sometimes. there's bigger dragons to slay in life and more interesting

The very nature of man is to question things and to seek answers. This
enigma of the "Hot for Teacher" video has irked me for 18 years! I pride
myself on knowing a lot of VH trivia, but the real name of the HFT chick has
always eluded me. Now that VH-1 has confused the shit outta me and
countless other VH fans, I felt the need to point out their deception.

BTW, Lori Butler still looks pretty good today even though she is in her
40's and has a kid. She is a little left of center with all that corny
Buddhist Zen crap she's into, but I would still bang her six ways from
Tuesday.....

The only video it seems Muller appeared in was Rod Stewart's DO YOU THINK
I-M SEXY, according to her official website:

Besides, there were 2 different blondes in that video, but neither one
really look like Muller.

My $ is still on Janet Jones (although I couldn't find any info online to
confirm it, other than the news blurb on VHND. I did find out that she's
expecting a 5th(!) kid soon. So much for that bod.....)

There absolutely was a blonde model in the L.A. area named Lori Butler in the early 1980's, she studied EST and I think she was with the Nina Blanchard agency. I knew her from working at the Security Pacific bank that used to be on Hollywood Boulevard just east of La Brea. She had an account there and came in all the time. She was really cool - she was very attractive but did not seem to be the least bit conceited and was always happy to chat a bit. Never saw her again after I left the bank in early 1982.

Looking at a few of the stills from "Hot For Teacher" she seems to have "big hair" so I have no idea if it is her. But from what I can recall of Lori, it seems possible it could have been her.

Here to tell you yes it was Lori Butler model and want to be actress I knew her personally through my old girlfriend Carol Shaw who was and is the creator of Lorac Cosmetics famous makeup artist. Those were the days when I lived in LA from the mid-70s to the late 80s. Many more stories to tell but I don't think I ever will.

Yes Lori Butler was indeed one of the teachers in the Hot For Teacher music video. She was the Physical Ed teacher that dance in the bikini on top of a desk. Donna Rupert is the Miss Chemistry teacher and also is the teacher wearing the white button up blouse and black mini skirt. Lori Tucker was the teacher who played the prison detention teacher. I don't know how Lillian Muller became known as one of the teachers because she seem to own it way back when she appeared on obviously VH1's video vixens and when she appeared on The Howard Stern show many years ago.
