uh, Black Sabbath "Suicide Solution"?
And where the HELL is Dont Fear The Reaper?! That should have made this list.
Burnin for You is on here and Dont Fear The Reaper isn't? Weird. Well, I wont
be upset not hearing Stairway To Heaven for a while. By the way, anyone who
listens to a Clear Channel station knows that songs like Harvester "or" Sorrow
by Metallica is not really on their playlist to begin with. I have a weird
feeling about this whole story. Either way, doesn't effect me since the radio
is gay anyway.
Oh, and any RATM song, Hilarious!!

No one has been scammed. The list was put together by ClearChannel itself
and passed on to it's radio stations program directors. While it's true the
PDs have the choice to ignore the list or not, they were being initially
pressured to go by the lists' "guidlines." Of course, once the media got
ahold of this and the quick public outcry about censorship (which it is),
ClearChannel was quick to put their spin control on it.
The fact is, this is just one incident of corporations and businesses
thinking they are doing some kind of "public service" by shielding us
sensitive americans from so-called inflammatory music and movies. Another
example is some video outlets taking movies like "The Seige" and "Die Hard"
off shelves.

Dont you post in the Nascar newsgroup?

actually, the song is called "Panic". But the sentiment in the song
is appropriate. (Morrissey wrote the song when some slap-happy DJ in
the UK, after quipping that the Chernobyl nuclear reactor had blown up
in the USSR, went right back into playing the records as if it were no
big woof)

Rock on
These are basically the only songs they ever play on radio anyway. What will
they air now, hour-long blocks of static?
