Any idea where I can find a fingering chart for
4 valve euphonium? I don't care if its in an etude
book or a photocopy. I heard there used to be a
pocket sized book called Band Directors Guide or
something that had findgering and transposition
guides for all instruments. Anything would help.
Let me know, Kat

Go to my old trombone site at http://www.sat.net/~bberlin/trombone/third.htm
Just change the slide positions there to valve combinations. Basic
conversion is as follows:

Open = 1st position
2nd valve = 2nd position
1st valve = 3rd position
1+2 valve = 4th position
2+3 valve = 5th position
1+3 valve = 6th position
1+2+3 valve = 7th position
Everytime you see the V (which means use the trigger) substitute 4th valve.
Good luck.

that doesnt translate correctly for the compensating euphonium...and I'm not
sure if the original post specified compensating or non - compensating...
