It's okay. B&H makes decent instruments, but if you want a worthwhile
euphonium, get one with four valves or three-valve with compensation. And
if you want a serious one, get one with a four-valve compensating system. I
picked up a decent Besson four-valve compensating several years ago for
$1300 and it's still a very nice instrument. Last spring I purchased a
Gerhard Baier four-valve compensating euphonium and it's a dream come true!
Bass trombone is still my first love, of course, but the euphonium is
definitely a wonderful "second" instrument.
