Hi, i'm really stuck here. There is a violin (or something like that) played
through this song that makes up the main melody, the only trouble is i've
heard this somewhere else but i have no idea where :(

Can anyone help, thanks :)

I had never heard that song before (that I can remember, anyway - I
like him as a DJ, but I tend to avoid his original stuff), but after
quickly giving it a listen, I can't help.

The vocals sound a bit like that Dead Can Dance song, Sanvean, that he
used to play a while back (and was remixed a year or so ago).

The strings kinda remind me (but only vaguely) of Led Zeppelin's
Kashmir. The only trance artists that commonly use the string sound
AFAIK are Brainbug and Hybrid. It sorta sounds a bit Hybridish, but
I'm not exactly an expert on them.

Yeah, you just got me there.. First day I heard it I had the lead in my head
all day. It just stayed in my head as if someone had glued it there.. I
thought that it just was one of those themes that get stuck.. but perhaps it
was because I had heard it before.. Hmm.. Gotta check this up.. Prolly from
some movie-theme or something. You usually recognize them but don't remember
from where..

I finally found it (i think) and i can sleep again :D

The lead is from the theme to Requiem for a Dream by the Kronos Quartet and
Clive Mansell, it's an absolutely awesome film that i'd recommend anyone to
watch.

Can anyone clear this up as it was quite a while since i'd seen the film and
even though i'm pretty sure it's from it, i can't be 100%

Thanks
