I think Movement in Still Life is a more educated album and for that reason
is slightly better than ESCM but they are both absolutely stunning musical
masterpieces.

Just to add some spice to the thread. I think BT has gone downhill over the
last few years and that MISL is forgettable. The hip-hop stuff is yucky and his
last few "trancey" releases like Deraming and Mercury and Solace have been of
the catchy-but-easy-to-get-sick-of variety.

Although it was written by BT, I'm not to sure whether his is credited in
the title. It seems that only Jan Johnston (the singer) is given a
namecheck!

Shockingly, I agree with Doug almost 100%. I do really like the Libra

dull

yes sir

didn't see that thread so why did he leave ?
I remember there was major artist fall out when Perfecto split from
distributor Warners.

Musical differences with Oakey.... still good friends, but Brian didn't want
to be controlled so much byt them any more.
I don't think I've ever seen him DJ, and I'm fairly sure he's said before
he's been puzzled by placement in 'top 100 DJ' type things since he's never
DJ'd

Superb, various genres and amazing!
The hip hop that BT does on the album is quite good I think. It's nothing like
the "Shake your ass watch yourself" type rap song there are actually variations
in the hip hop songs. But of course this is just my opinion. Or it could just
mean that BT LIKES some Hip Hop and wants to do what he wants to do.

i remember he did an assential mix for radio 1 in the uka few years back,
but apparently it was really really crap - i didn't hear it myself so can't
really say any more on that...
