Sheesh, i havent been here in a few months. Lets catch up...
I just turned 45. My oldest daughter started high school 2 weeks ago. I'm still in NJ, bigger house now in Flemington. Listening to Mastodon, High on Fire, The Sword, Red Fang, etc. very disappointed with the new QotSA, but still love Josh.
I almost never write anymore - but encourage my kids to be creative all the time. My son, now 13, is loving his keyboard lessons, so I'm encouraged. My youngest, now 10, is very artistic - she's won a few awards already, so I'm encouraged. Oh, and my balls are now hanging 1/4 inch lower than they were when i first started posting here. Love the messenger, hate the message.

Married 5 years, 3 kids, just got my masters in family therapy. Fatter and happier. 30 years old, about as old as horse was when I met him on this group.

Just to make you guys feel old, I'm 30 now, married, been teaching English for 8 years, and I have two dogs. Most of y'all are friends with me on Facebook so this isn't news. Though, finding out that Horse was 30 when he was cracking all those old man jokes just kind of made my head explode.

Damn, I remember trolling this group back in like 99/00. I decided to google alt.music.tool just to see, and it looks like there's still some of the same people around here. Horse, Changey, maev...wow. I can't even remember what I went by back then...I think it was dersnuka or some other handle. Not sure, but life goes on. I saw Tool in San Fran earlier this year, even shelled out the money for the VIP ticket, and it was really cool. Hope everyone is doing well.

This newsgroup was more "social" to me than today's social media has ever been. It really was a unique time- the internet was new, the newsgroups were in full swing for files, chat rooms and forums were the internet social media, and phones were just phones. What a great time it was! I'm so glad I used to post here!

I still rock, and have more fun than ever- couple of kids who are awesome but I still miss amt 2000.
