version 2 is in the workshop (windows notepad) now, and it will have more and
better selections. in general, a letter represents a category (such as T for
Time, A for Albums, P for a Perfect circle, etc) and the value following it
represents how this category applies to you. `x` meaning zero, - or -- meaning a
negative reaction or a dislike, a + or ++ meaning a positive reaction or a
liking. special symbols like ! and * signify that A) youre special or B) i
couldnt think of a letter.
the idea is that everyone sticks their AMTCode into their sig, and people can
get a feel for what each individual posters fellings/experiences/etcs are.
i saw am_Code in altmusicnin first, you can go see it at www.amnin.com ... thats
basically my goal. since i copied them, i dont feel that i have the right to
claim ownership to anything. i wrote the scripting for it (amnin used cgi, i
used javascript), but its nothing revolutionary. so feel free to hit `'view
source'`, edit some things, comment them and mail me a copy.
judging from the number of replies to my original post, i think that this
amtcode could actually work. it just needs a little work. hopefully v2 will
bring that. if not, theres always v3. or 4. or 5. ad infinitum.
