In "Starving in the Belly..." there's a line e-O-leven goes to heaven.
What is e-O-leven?

Thanks,
Adrian

A funny thing, that...

I saw that movie a few years back (the original, not the remake.
Duh.), and I actually thought that Sammy just had very bad
enunciation, and that he was saying D.O. Eleven, as in Danny Ocean's
Eleven, from the title. Like, I'm here with my brothers, you know.

Then I read a review where they talked about him singing E-O Eleven,
and I didn't know what the fook was going on.

I'll tell ye, I had zero respect for that gang until I saw that movie
- if you watch it, you begin to understand the draw. These guys were
the uber-cool of their day, and the movie was really just a vehicle
for them to all stand around being the cool motherfuckers that they
were. Which makes the remake a completely pointless exercise, when you
think about it, although I heard from a friend whose opinion I respect
that it wasn't so bad.
