Todd Rundgren, Rock's Rennaissance Man, returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse with hits I Saw The Light, Hello It's Me, Can We Still Be Friends, and Bang The Drum. His career has produced a diverse range of recordings, both as a solo artist and as a member of the band Utopia. Songwriter, video pioneer, producer, recording artist, computer software developer and conceptualist -- Rundgren has made an undeniable impact on popular music. In the early 70's he was dubbed "Rock's New Wunderkind" after albums A Wizard, A True Star and Something/Anything catapulted him into the limelight. He tours regularly with Ringo Star and, as a producer, has worked on albums with Patti Smith, Cheap Trick, Psychedelic Furs, Meatloaf, XTC, Grand Funk Railroad, and Hall And Oates.
