Well beta-testers... guess what?

Time to trash the old beta and start over again (in case you didn't get TR-i's e-mail).

Like... how much "before"? (The same day?).

Use the "find" function on your pc.  First Look for anything named "Patronet."  Delete it/them.
Use "find" again, and seek out "Interocotor Beta."  Delete those too.
I also delete the little folder that is created in Windows "tempfile" that starts "aaa.  or aab." or something similar.  That may not be important.
Go back to the beta site and download whatever the hell is there now, and remember the steps, because you'll probably have to repeat them before too long.

And may Todd help you if you're using a Mac.  I just assumed you have a pc.  The instructions are totally different.

Tried to get into Interocitor last two nights. Got a "server full" message throughout both nights. Problem with the server? Big-time party?

I remembered to log on to Interocitor tonight and last night at 9 CST.  I also go there first thing around 6pm.  I was not able to get on tonight at 9 (server full).  No, you can bet there's no big time party.  Actually, my thought was "Oh, Chris has gotten on and a couple of other NG readers are checking by at the same time, and it can't handle it."  I don't know what the problem is.  There was a few "big-time parties" a few weeks ago.  My only other suscpiscion (i can't spell) is that TR may be trying to "demonstrate" it to some possible future users on his end (Cheap Trick, for instance).  But that is about as far afield a guess as I have right now.  "Try again later."

I'll try on-and-off on the hour for a few days in the evenings when I remember it.

Hi Jeff,
to check what version you have right click on the interocitor file, then click on properties, and click on version, you should be able to see the version number then, hope this helps
(I'm assuming that you have Win 95 or later)
See ya ,
Derry

Gee, thanks! I must admit I've crashed many a server in my day but never on purpose!

All kidding aside, I know Todd's "server" WAS a laptop!! It's been upgraded --- right?!
