> Anyone know where I can find the chords to "An Elpee's Worth of
> Tunes"?
I just took a crack at it, and here's what I hears (at least right now,
with the TV blathering in the background):
====================
An Elpee's Worth of Toons
G F/D G F/D G F/D G F/D
Who's that on the racks again? A portrait of a crazy man
G F/D G F/D C Bb/G C Bb/G
Trying to make a living off an elpee's worth of toons
G F/D G F/D
A picture of a soul in pain
G F/D Gm F/D C Bb/G C Bb/G
Trying to change the world with an elpee's worth of toons
Dm C/A Dm C/A
There's something at the heart of it that's simply awful
Dm C/A Dm C/A
A man who makes a living off a plastic waffle
F Eb/C F Eb/C
There's something at the heart of it that's simply awful
F Eb/C F Eb/C
A man who makes a living off a plastic waffle
Am G/E Am G/A
There's something at the heart of it that's simply awful
Am G/A Am G/E
A man who makes a living off a plastic waffle
A G/E A G/E Dm C/D Dm C/D
Trying to change the world with an elpee's worth of toons
F Eb/F F Eb/F
G F/D G F/D G F/D G F/D
Sweat is forming on my brow - Not a thing can help me now
G F/D G F/D C Bb/G C Bb/G
My life is on the line for an elpee's worth of toons
I can see the write-ups now
The multitudes are crying for an elpee's worth of toons
A man would simply have to be as mad as a hatter
To try to change the world with a plastic platter
What's your problem, sonny?
What's your problem, son?
Fmaj Em7 Dm7
I want to change the world...
Thanks!

You're welcome. I tried to capture the feel of the piano part and
bassline. If you find the above too fiddly, you could simplify it a bit
by leaving out every other chord (e.g. G or G7 throughout the first
line, omitting the F/D.) With the sung melody, the net effect would be
close enough for rock and roll.
