Raleigh Concert 2/19

Saw Them last night, or was it this morning. The start time on the
ticket was 7:30, Their opening act was delayed on a flight somewhere
so we waited till 10:30 for them. They weren't worth the wait
either. The "Dam Builders" were kinda strange. Their violin player
was scary. Or at least her 3" skirt was.

But we didn't pay to see the Dam Builders and TMBG was worth the
wait. The songs followed the playlist posted by some other recent
concert goers here so no need to repost.

John with glasses refered to himself as Buddha from Ace of Base.

At one point introduced "The Lion's in Control" by saying that he
was watching X-files(cheers&applause) Friday and wondered if he
had been taken over
by aliens and was singing here because of it. And the aliens
made him sing that song..

I think the 5th song or so was cut because the other John said so.
Their reasoning: no shitty music tonight, only good.
Less shit more music.

They even got a conga line going randomly around the room. Gave
everyone a chance to get better seats. Oh yea at the beginning
we were informed that "the way cool mosh pit is outside in the
parking lot."

It was a great first concert. I might have to do that again sometime.
