Hey there everyone...

Tomorrow night will be my first TMBG concert experience (yippee) but seeing
as there are many of you who have been to concerts before, maybe you can
give me some advice. Are the floor seats actually seats, or is it just a
glorified mosh pit with row and seat numbers solely for the purpose of
keeping track of ticket sales? Also, how early should I be at the theatre?

Thanks!

At the concert I went to, it was far from a mosh pit, but there were no
seats. That is to say, people were standing around, but not running
around bumping into each other. When I went, there was a small line
about three hours before the show, but that would only matter if you
want to stand up in front. But I hear that it's different at every
venue. Have fun at the show, at any rate.

At the Warfield the front area is completely stand-up, the "seat numbers"
are indeed just to keep track of how many tickets they've sold. Not sure
how early you should get there -- remember that the more insanely hardcore
of us (like me) will be journeying to the venue from the 6PM free show at
the Virgin Megastore, so if you get there before any of us you'd probably be
able to snag a good front spot.
