So now I gotta find a Morrissey fan, preferable female, to go to the
show with me on Feb 2.....just not my cousin....she's embarrassing and
wants to go....

That must mean he's still alive ... Did he ever get a record label? (Maybe
Insane Clown Posse have an opening on theirs ...)

I doubt it, his last LP (which was absolutely miserable and muddy) only
sold about 80,000 units. I wish Moz would dump that shitty backing band
and hook up with Vini from Durutti Column again (guitarist on the best
Moz solo LP Viva Hate, this guy is up there with Jonny Marr). Its been 6
years since the last good Moz LP!

What a bunch of BULLSHIT!...

Maladjusted and (My Early Burglary Years) are wonderful !!.... really!.. And
why does people like YOU always seek for the old stuff..
You are the kind of people we in Denmark calls "The Five Percenter" ..
always finds something negative in everything.

In your opinion.

I myself strongly disagree, as do most Moz fans. Besides that My Early
Burglary Years is not a new LP, its a compilation of Bsides and such,
you know... reissue, repackage, re-evaluate... or however that goes.

Why do people like YOU generalize? Excuse me for having my own opinion
on Moz's last 2 Studio LPs (Southpaw and Maladjusted). In my opinion
Viva Hate is the best Moz LP, I could care less if was released in 1988,
that shouldn't detract from its brilliance.

Like you're doing now? Isn't Denmark one of those wacky Scandinavian
countries where kiddy porn is pretty much accepted and sold next to the
Icelandic version of Newsweek?

I don't think so, and there's no album either, he's just touring
because he loves it...

I liked the last one...Roy's Keen is silly, but that's why I like
it...

I agree with Burglary Years, I'm in no hurry to get it...maybe in the
Skuff bin...
But I thought musically speaking, Southpaw and Vauxhall were the best,
and Maladjusted's good in that his Glam roots are showing.

no. i live in San Diego. I'm coming up to seattle and portland for those
shows. i just got my portland moz ticket in the mail 3 days ago. that show
is GA, so it will be cool. seattle is reserved seating, so you can't get up
front and have fun with the fans. but i want to line up early for the
portland show so i can get pulled onstage. i only got to see one show here
in SoCal, the one in san diego. we could not figure out what label moz was
on, so we were late in trying to score free tix. by the time we had figured
out what label he's on (the same as the cure interestingly enough) it was
too late to ask for tix. my friend went and scalped a pair for $100, and got
his ass kicked at the show by a bunch of pseudo greasers. needless to say,
he has a bad taste in his mouth.

Isn't the Seattle show at the Paramount? That was the first place I
saw Moz, and trust me, it was absolute chaos!
My ticket was for the someteenth or twentysomethingth row, but I ended
up in like the third row, holding one of the girls I went with, both of
us ballancing percariously(I just got off work, my speling sux) on a
seat...one of our friends made it to the stage, but got carted off
before she got to him.

during the seattle show, i was front middle, my friends were pushed to front
right, and my other friend with a camera was front far left side. anyway,
moz was wearing this brown shirt, and he threw it to me. i wrestled the
whole thing intact from the people around me, and a security guard in front
of me says "give it back" and grabs it from me. now my mistake is that i did
not fight for it very hard, and he gave it back to moz. anyway, moz looked
at him like he was nuts, and threw it back at me-but this time the people
around me were ready. anyway, the shirt was SHREDDED. the kicker is that my
friend who was 15 people to the left of me got the sleeve. imagine what a
fight that was people from both sides and the middle all got pieces of the
shirt.

i did shake his hand during the show, and i later blessed people with the
hand that touched moz...hahahaha

Cool.
I had a friend whose little sister got a tattered bit of a shiny lame~
shirt he wore for the Arsenal show in Portland....
