My theory and I know I'm going to get flak: Richard "masterminded" Urban
Hymns, listened back after £2 million and 2 years of studio poncing and
thought "oh shit, it's a Robbie Williams reckid, I'd better try and make
it cool lark wot I used fot be lark. What wuz that weird bloke's
name....O I yeh, Nick Macabre or summat, e's like weird and experimental
and that. Get im to stick some funny noises on it and everyone'll think
we're of oor tits"
(instead of Bon Jovi on moggadon)
Nobody wanted the old verve apart from me and anyone brave enough to
face ridicule (largely illicited by Ashcroft's ridiculous
pseudo-spiritual dogshit)
humble, music lovers cut off from their friends, their only company: The
Camden Cogniscenti, The Wonderful World Of A+R, The Beautiful Scribes of
the Modern Age. See what happens? A noble venture, undignified demise.

Look at this turd spouting in the NME...eh?Jaz or Richard?...s'ppose
both of em...
By the way people, Richard's solo contract was signed 2 weeks after V98.
How long do these things take to negotiate? How about the whole time
they toured America? (sans nick, avec nick samples {virtual Nick?},
someone should tell him, I reckon he hasn't had his PRS yet ho ho)
Makes you think.....
Another thing, the other boys are well busy. Expect some quality
instrumentals very soon, seek and consume....or you could wait for 2
years and get Richard's(+ session musos) platter of potted platitudes,
probably with yr Noel Gallagher unplugged solo LP

Long live the meek, glory is a bundle of poo

FAk of Big Life, Fak of Virgin, Fak of Camden,Fak off dung beetles

peace and happiness to any who are worthy,

Manuel

Yea ashcroft did make that album basically, and so what? its my fav
album. and as for pseudo-spirituality on his part, well sorry if he
says what he feels in a way that even the dumbest fuck can understand,
he is an amazing man, and bottom line he is a man he is real.
Frankly I'd rather have a solo album than another verve album
