When I saw the Truman show I was immediately immersed
by the fact that there was a guy in a bathtub as one of the viewers.
I immediately thought this was a symbolic reference to Jim.

I noticed recently Jim Carrie and his Jim Mojo look alike stuff .. whats up
with this?

Of course my symbolic reference to Truman started with the one guy who's
entire life has been seen by the world. JFK Jr.
Did anyone else see these?

I really doubt that the purpose of that guy in the bathtub was to reference
Jim. If he looked like Jim, then I'd see your point. It was just a guy that
enjoyed taking a bath and watching The Truman Show. Great movie btw.

Hehe oh yeah. "Try to run! Try to hide! BREAK ON THROUGH TO THE OTHER SIDE!!
YEEEEAAAAHHH!!!"

"What was I on?"

I think Krusty the Clown is Jim Morrison reincarnated. Remember the episode
where Krusty faked his death and went under the name Rory Bellows? OBVIOUS
reference to Jim.

And the episode where Krusty says "Watch my show and I'll send you this book
featuring me in a variety of sexually explicit poses." Then the FBI agents
haul him off. This is a reference to 3 different things: Jim's young lion
pictures, the Miami incident, and the fact that Jim really enjoyed sex.
Krusty enjoys sex as well. And Krusty smokes! So did Jim! The proof is there
folks!

Oh, come on! Talk about reaching! Is there really so little to talk about any
more that folks have to start fantasizing ridiculous stuff like this?

All I can say is that (I think) for some strange reason most Canadians
(Carrey's from Canada) "get" the Doors. The Kids In The Hall (a Canadian
comedy troupe) wrote a hilarious song/sketch about "A Doors Fan". The Guess
Who (one of the biggest bands to come out of Canada in the 70's) had a lead
singer who emulated Morrison.
Maybe it has to do with the fact that the Doors sound better in the darkness (&
it's dark longer up north). Who knows... but Carrey's Mojo impersonation was a
breath of fresh air in these overly politically correct times...

Yes, and I'm sure there are no Canadian born writers working on the Simpsons
either. Nope, no Canadians ever worked on any comedy show, like SNL or Second
City. Give yourself a break.
