record. I got a history of cleaning out newsgruppes of
clubby-clubbiness, Usenet Kopps and other fukkers who through their
total fukken lack of real lives somehow fall into Usenet claiming Usenet
space as their very own.
ACF ain't no different.
We had the Priceless Years upended when most of that cadre went to the
crapper, Buggher leaving closed the door on that Gruppe. A year before
we had the Bare Butthole (aka better known as William "Bear" Bottoms,
the KoKainne Kowboy) who Ari, Franklin and the Boyz so completely and
utterly dismantled, fried and fukked in the ass, he hasn't yet to emerge
from his own well-dug grave. Adios motherfukker, "I'll always be waiting
for you" (very Coldplayish there don't ya' thunk?)
The same co-criminals Me.Here, Corliss, humminghomo....all abandoning
their dethroned Bear Leader like Judas did Christ, seeing their own ends
caught in their own shitfire, looks like they are ready to take the last
bastion, the ultimate end all of end alls, form their own
playground(wait and see it will be moderated) Gruppe. It won't work,
never does, they will end up talking to each other and people who hate
them already will fukken stay away in droves.

The rock newsgroups are so prone to a punch up. A lot more than most.
On some days alt.flame is probably quieter than a rock music group in
action. Why's that? What is it about those music groups?
I like my rock music and some of it's very good to hear. But after 30
minutes of Pink Floyd I somehow don't feel the need to go stompin' and
roarin' across the Usenet.
(30 minutes of Captain Beefheart might but that's a different story.)
Surely not everybody in the music groups are sniffin', snortin',
smokin' and crankin' to enhance their musical experience? With the
result, you know, of the space cadets getting growly with each other.
That can't be the main reason.

Eventually they began to catch on that 'someone was watching'. Watchers
looked on in amusement as the 'Gentullmen',these bad-ass trickster trolls,
imploded, turning on each other in paranoid hysteria. And we carefully
archived the whole mess for posterity.
'w''s never forgiven or forgotten that embarrassment. He's also eternally
angry that most of the Tull newsgroup posters he drove off, simply started
their *own* moderated discussion list and carried on (as they do to this
day), doing all the stuff his pruney Grinch soul can't stand -- making
silly jokes, celebrating each other's birthdays, talking Tull -- in a
place that he can never, ever disrupt the way he did the Usenet group.

Gentullmen used a variety of nyms when they posted to a.m.jethro-tull.
'w' himself has used hundreds in the course of his 'career' of

he's trolled from, he's exclusively gone to anonymous
remailers these days.
