Does anyone know if Jim Morrison ever performed live with Jimi Hendrix?
Because I've got this really bad sounding CD, with awesome music by Jimi
Hendrix played live, like a jam session and suddenly some person begins to
sing/scream and he sounds just like Jim Morrison. Does anyone know if this is
really him or just someone that sounds just like him.
(I don't remember the title of it but the song lasts for about 7.5 minutes)

Yes, they did perform together. I have the tape. It is called Bleeding
Heart. Jimi is rocking out on the guitar, and Jim is screaming his head
off, completely drunk. It is incredibly funny!

By The Way... how many of you people think you are obsessed with The
Doors? My girlfriend constantly tells me I'm obsessed with Jim Morrison!
:-) Oh well... I think I'm just passionate about it.

I had the same experience of playing a Hendrix record and hearing that
unmistakable voice of Jim Morrison. The record has a different title
than the already mentioned tape. It is called "Hendrix High, LIve'N
Dirty" The whole album sounds like one long jam session which they
merely faded in and out to give the impression of there being several
different tracks. I never saw Jim's name mentioned anywhere on the
album, but Hendrix does tell the audience that it's Jim. One cut in
particular is called F.H.I.T.A. Jim, who sounds drunk, has one main
repeative line that is discernible; "fuck her in the ass". Thus the
title for the cut F.H.I.T.A.

That song is more commonly known as "Morrisons Lament".

Well I can't tell you who was there, but you've got to love the credits
for the Woke up this morning and gound myself dead CD. Especially
Jim's. It credits him for: harmonica, vocals, abuse, obscenities, and
mumbling. Many years ago I used to do the same thing and it was a lot
of fun!
