Hi,
I understand that Mick Jagger and Jim Morrison didn't like each
other too much and were rather competitive. According to the BREAK ON
THROUGH biography, Jim was compared to Mick early in his career,
however, after seeing Jim perform at the Hollywood Bowl, Mick called
Jim's performance "boring." Later, Jim had some negative comments
about Mick Jagger.
Did these two legendary frontmen really dislike each other? Did
they ever reconcile?

I don't think they had anything against each other beyond a natural
professional rivalry. They went to dinner before the Hollywood Bowl concert
and it's reported they got on famously (so to speak). I think sometimes things
said in a lighthearted way get taken more seriously over the years than they
were probably meant originally, or at least lose their context.
