THe Brion James that died was the character actor Brion James. I've seen him in
tons of stuff but the only two roles that come to mind right now are Nick
Nolte's cop buddy in "48 Hours" and the General who gets frozen in Bruce
Willis' frig in "The Fifth Element" -RIC-

yeah this guy died a month or 2 ago i think. He was also in Tango and
Cash, one of the baddies in the prison, pretending to be an Englishman, but
sounded more Australian. Also i saw him in House 3 : The Horror Show, and he
played a gay boy in an episode of Sledgehammer! He was tall and had buck
teeth, definately not the old damned stalwart.

In article <80t3g5$iok$1...@supernews.com>,

Well Andrew, perhaps Brion was not the sturdy
stalwart he USED to be but he was very sick in
the last months of his life. By the way,it was a
Cockney accent he used in Tango And Cash.If any
of you would like to know more about "Life of
Brion" (haha), just visit www.brionjames.com,
specifically located at:
Please sign the Guestbook when you get there and
let me know you've visited! Thanks!
By the way, I rarely surf here, so I won't see
any responses here, only at the above site...

Yes i did realise he was trying to do a Cockney accent, but as an American
badly trying to imitate a Cockney accent,it sounds more Australian
!!Probably only noticable if you're English.
