Does anyone know what the music is in that VW commercial, the one
with the bug spinning and changing colors?
It's techno, I think one line is "the sky was beautiful".

I'd swear I've heard it before and it's driving me nuts trying to think
where.

If you reply and would be so kind, add an email cc to
mailto:rade...@4pi.com (the mailto: is not part of the address, of course)
just so I see it ASAP.

Thanks,
Renard

"Little Fluffy Clouds" by the Orb. It is on the classic "Adventures Beyond
the Ultraworld". Try to get the import version.

What I find odd is that the version on the commercial is different than the
album version (I have the UK import). Specifically, the guy's voice asking
"What where the skies like when you were young?" is different, and I don't
think the sample stutters at the very beginning, like it does on the album.

How about from the ad that starts with a blue beetle driving towards you
through haze?

I was wondering if you knew the other commercial tune...the one where
the tag line is "Reverse-Engineered from UFO's" I've been told that it
is also Orb...is that true?

Does anyone know the other techno song for the earlier Volkswagen commercial?
I was told it was also Orb but I don't recognize it. It's the one that has
the spinning beetle in the air and has the line "Reversed Engineered from
UFOs".

I'm not sure which commercial has which tune, but I remember one by the
Crystal Method, and one by Fluke. Great ads!

Yeah! And they've started running the "Da, Da, Da" -(TRIO)- VW
commercial again, too, with the 2 guys that drive around, pick up a
stuffed chair, then drop it off again because it stinks.*HeeHee*.
Those guys need a life.

I thought one was cut from the Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld. Or
was that a different car commercial?

It's "Absurd" by Fluke.
