Looking for this british artist!

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
There is this british artist with a web site, his name is
something like Moresus or Morphesus or something like that.
He is recording songs about people as they request him.
These are songs specificily about the person intended.

I rememeber there are pics of him up, he sometimes seems to
wear an eyepatch.

I know this isn't a whole lot, but hopefully someone can
point me in the right direction.

I believe you're referring to Momus, who just released his double cd of
personalized songs, "Stars Forever." He used to be in the 4AD band,
The Happy Family, if you're interested. Quirky pop. Fun listen.
