Pennicilian is a drug. Sudafed is a drug. Excedrin is a drug. So is
herb. All of these will probably also be confiscated by security if you
try to take them into a party. So if you want to take 'em, stuff 'em in
your underwear/sock/bra/etc. Just because it's used as medicine doesn't
mean it's not harmful. I've been given Coke in the hospital(yep, it
even went up my nose...), demerol(don't know anyone who'd do that at a
party), and I'm sure some European people on this newsgroup have
recieved heroin in the hospital. These are all medicine. Does that
mean that they do not deserve to be treated as drugs or harmful
substances?

I think the word drug is a bit crap, it means so many things. I hope
this doesn't turn into a "are drugs good/bad" thing, that would really
suck. Is colour pinkish ? Err.....yes. Errr.....no. As for marihuana, or
grass or dope or whatever, it isn't really that bad at all...smoking a
cigarette is worse for you than a spliff of pure weed (people mix it
with tobacco usually though....which means it's a lot worse for you.)
I went through a rough patch in my life and started smoking weed a lot,
I suffered short term memory loss for a while and started getting a
little paranoid. My friends thought it was really funny but it was
giving me the fear ! This might have been just me loosing it but I
attatched the problem to the weed and gave it up, I still dabble now and
again, but I don't set out to get mashed. I still think there's a lot of
ignorance and mis-information about it, based on prejudice usually.
I'm not even sure if I'd want it legalised though, the issue is very
complex and legalisation may not be the answer, it might be worse that
way not just for society but for the weed smoker as well. Work that out!
