According to a very sarky preview in this week's Observer Aphex Twin will be on
John Peel's Sounds of the Suburbs which is in Cornwall this week (Sat, 12.20am
on Channel 4). Wait and see...

p.26 of the Screen section 14/3/99 (the oh-so-witty journalist is Tom Hibbert)

The elderly disc jockey goes all the way to that far off county to meet some
supposed pop stars called The Aphex Twins. They sit, John and ver Twins, on some
grass and talk about mining. The Aphex Twins then reveal, highly-originally,
that the reason they started making music was 'out of boredom'. And out of
boredom, I switched the programme off... within minutes, I had composed
Beethoven's Fifth and several of Handel's Variations all by myself. Hurrah for
telly...

[a homage to Borges' "Pierre Menard, author of the Don Quioxte" there?]
