Is it " Var " as in jar?
" Varth " as in bath?
" vaath " as in math?
" vaith " as in wraith?
or sumtin else?
Please help, any responses greatfully recieved. :O)
Some quasi-official article or press release I saw somewhere said
it's pronounced Vate, as in, 'I hate that mate Sven Vath'

I always thought it was "Varth" as in bath, but he's german, so he
probably says it differently anyway. Just my 2 pence worth....

Its Sven !VAETH! not Sven Vath.
On one of his old EPs it says "rhymes with FATE".

In german, 'v' is pronounced like English's 'f'...
so maybe it's 'fath'?!?!

I have a friend who went to Germany and came back talking about this guy
called "Swin Faith". I had no idea who she was talking about until we
went to a CD shop and she showed me his stuff. It was Sven Vath. So that's
the German pronounciation, anyways.
well, i'm swedish ( and our language does come from the same tree as german )
so the real pronounce would be..
sven - sveein
in vath, he actully uses a letter that's orginal for the german
languages...it's like a long "a" with a bit of "e" in it...
vath - vaaaeeeth
there you go.
I always thought it was pronounced 'Kevin Smith'. With the accent on the
'in' portion of Kevin to produce a perculiarly uplifting experience.
